FE1 - Explosion-Proof Electric Air Heater
The Ruffneck™ FE1 Explosion-Proof Electric Air Heater is designed and manufactured for use in dry indoor industrial applications and hazardous locations where specific explosive gases or dusts may be present, such as oil refineries, petrochemical plants, pulp and paper mills, hazardous waste storage facilities and wastewater treatment plants.
All FE1 heaters utilize the VacuCore® liquid-to-air heat exchanger, which provides greater efficiency, faster warm-up and even heat distribution across the face of the exchanger. The entire core can be replaced easily and safely with a new core if required.

Certified for use in hazardous locations, the Ruffneck™ FX4 Explosion-Proof Electric Air Unit Heater is designed for dry indoor industrial environments such as oil refineries, petrochemical plants, pulp and paper mills, grain elevators, hazardous waste storage facilities, wastewater treatment plants and more. This heater is ideal for areas where explosive gases or dusts may be present.
All FX4 heaters utilize the VacuCore® liquid-to-air heat exchanger. The induced vacuum within the sealed core provides greater efficiency, faster warm-up and even heat distribution across the face of the exchanger. The entire core can be removed through the bottom cabinet of the heater and replaced easily and safely with a new core if required.

The FR Series heaters are specifically designed for steam applications that may be subject to freezing conditions, and are of particular value for outdoor applications such as drilling rigs. They gain their resistance to frost damage through the use of rectangular top and bottom headers. Explosion-proof models suitable for hazardous locations available on custom order.

Ruffneck™ RGX Heavy Duty Unit Heaters are specifically engineered for heavy duty use in industrial environments, such as mine shafts, pulp & paper mills, hoist houses, welding shops, maintenance shops, sewage treatment plants, chemical plants and more. The heavy duty construction of this heater will reduce the downtime and maintenance costs associated with standard design heaters.
