Fulflo® Honeycomb™ Filter Cartridge

Multipurpose filtration solutions with wound depth cartridges.
Wound cartridges provide true depth filtration utilizing hundreds of tapered filtering passages of controlled size and shape. Each layer of roving contributes to true depth filtration by trapping its share of particles. Wound cartridges offer a gradual pressure increase during cartridge life versus surface-type media that have an abrupt flow cutoff when loaded. In addition, the irregular outer layer reduces surface blinding, assuring both longer cartridge life and full cartridge utilization.
Ultrafine cartridges are a unique member of the Honeycomb™ wound depth cartridge family. They are specifically designed for critical filtration applications in the 0.5µm range. When absolute 0.5µm filtration is required, the nominal Ultrafine cartridge can be used as a prefilter, thereby significantly extending membrane life. Ultrafine cartridges remove 90% of particles larger than 0.5µm in size. This type of filtration provides excellent protection for equipment or processes that must be protected from fine particles.
Effective removal ratings at nominal 90% efficiency from 0.5µm to 150µm range.

Nuclear Products - Ion Exchange Columns

Ion exchangers employ vessels or columns containing nuclear grade ion exchange resins to remove undesirable ions from process water. They are supplied with cation, anion or mixed bed resins, and are designed to avoid channeling and provide uniform flow across resin beds. Internal removable screens allow for easy maintenance.
Application Examples
- process water demineralization
- boiler feed water demineralization
- boric acid evaporator feed demineralization
- de-borating demineralization
Nuclear Products - Restriction Orifices & Flow Elements

Restriction orifices and flow elements are used for flow restriction, pressure control and accurate flow measurement. Restriction orifices are available as flat plate orifices mounted between two pipe flanges, and are designed for unidirectional or bi-directional flow. Flow elements consist of a single orifice or multiple orifices machined inside of a tube, and are available as single stage or multiple stage units for achieving very high pressure differential.
Orifices and flow elements are designed to maintain 1% accuracy over extended periods of operation.

Filter Separator Accessories
- Water Slug Shut-Off Device: An automatic water discharge system, which is recommended for Filter Separator installations to prevent carry-over of accumulated water. Systems can also be equipped with a rate-of-flow control feature which will reduce or isolate the flow on high water levels.
- Water Dump Valve (Mechanical Float Type): These float valves operate on the interface between two liquids, and only a slight difference in specific gravity is required to operate the valve.
- Air Eliminator: Float-operated air eliminators exhaust trapped air during filling of the vessel. When air is exhausted and liquid fills the vessel dome, the float lifts to shut the valve.
