Oakville – March 23, 2011 – CCI Thermal Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce that it has obtained nuclear accreditation in its Oakville facility from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
The accreditation includes the "N" and "NPT" Certificates of Authorization under a nuclear quality assurance program in accordance with ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21 and ANSI N45.2.
The "N" Certificate of Authorization certifies CCI Thermal to place the "N" stamp on complete pressure components that it has designed and manufactured in compliance with the ASME Code. The "NPT" Certificate of Authorization certifies CCI Thermal to place the "NPT" stamp on parts it has designed and constructed in compliance with the ASME Code that may be provided to another N-certificate holder for incorporation into a component.
CCI Thermal Technologies has been engaged in the nuclear business for over thirty years, with Caloritech™ and 3L Filters™ products designed and manufactured to a rigorous nuclear quality program based on ASME Sec.lll NCA 4000, with additional requirements of CSA N285.0 for ASME Section lll Nuclear CL-1, CL-2 and CL-3.
