Ontario – September 28th, 2011 – CCI Thermal Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce Caloritech™ industrial control panels have received cULus certification for hazardous locations under Class 1, Division 1 & 2.
The cULus designation recognizes Caloritech™ control panels as being explosion proof, purged or intrinsically safe. The standards governing the UL certification include UL 698A, NFPA 496, UL 1203, ANSI/ISA 12.12.01-2007, NFPA 70, CSA 22.2 No. 157-92, C22.2 No. 30-M1986 and C22.2 No. 213-M198.
Products are granted UL certification after UL’s component recognition service completes a thorough evaluation and determines the products comply with established performance and construction requirements for use in specific end-product applications.
“Having met these requirements, CCI Thermal is now authorized to use the cULus listing mark on or in connection with all Caloritech™ industrial control panel products used in Canada or the United States,” said Alejandro Maldonado, Chief Technical Officer.
