Edmonton, Oakville, Orillia, Greensburg, Houston, Denver – January 21, 2014 – CCI Thermal Technologies Inc. is committed to making a positive difference in our communities. Each year, owners Harold and Cathy Roozen challenge their employees to raise money and collect food, clothing and toiletries for local charitable organizations. In turn, Harold and Cathy commit to doubling whatever amounts are raised by their employees.
CCI Thermal employees broke all previous corporate fundraising efforts in 2013. A grand total of $80,634.00 and 3801 pounds of food, clothing and toiletries were donated to eight charitable organizations across Canada and the United States. These organizations support many causes including hunger, less fortunate families, homelessness, health and well-being, and disaster relief.
Since the introduction of the Charity Challenge in 2005, over $425,000 and 21,852 lbs of essential items have been provided to charitable organizations.
