Cata-Dyne™ Infrared Gas Catalytic Heaters
- Category: Infrared Applications
The Cata-Dyne™ heater is a flameless, gas-fired appliance that converts natural gas or propane into usable infrared energy. This energy is emitted as non-harmful infrared radiant heat that is readily absorbed by most materials. Heat is concentrated on the object rather than the surrounding air, making infrared heating more flexible in application than conventional heating.
CCI Thermal has developed two different types of catalyst technology: the X series catalyst pad, designed for use in hazardous (classified) locations, and the G series high performance catalyst pad which is suitable for use in non-hazardous general industrial applications. The heaters are designed to operate on clean, dry natural gas and are available in two models: the WX Series, which is suitable for use in hazardous locations, and the G Series, which is intended for general industrial use in non-hazardous areas.
