The DriQuik™ QuikCOIL Oven (Medium Wavelength) with Electric Tubular Element (Calrod® type*) Emitter has become a popular upgrade to our traditional product offerings, and is one of the more versatile yet affordable products in the DriQuik™ line. The QuikCOIL is most effective in applications that require surface temperatures in the 250°F to 450°F range, such as in high solids or powder coat finishing systems, and is ideal for substrates with complex geometric parts.
Typical applications of the QuikCOIL include wet coat waterborne curing, wet coat solvent base curing, post pretreatment dry off, powder coat gel (booster ramp into convection oven) function, powder coat curing, composite curing, upholstery drying, preheating processes and plastic forming. It is a preferred choice in circumstances where production rates increase or finishes change, acting as a booster system to existing convection ovens and providing a quick and even temperature rise in minimal plant space at an affordable cost.
