The Caloritech™ 30000 Surface Mounting Thermoswitch® Temperature Control operates on the principle of the differential expansion of metals. Because the case is one of the expanding metals and it is in direct contact with the heated surface, a temperature change is sensed almost instantaneously. Contacts open on temperature rise.
