RAC coalescer elements are API/EI 1581 3rd or 5th Edition qualified and are designed to separate water and solids from aviation fuels.
API filter water separators are fitted with coalescer elements and separators which are required in jet fuel supply and delivery systems. These include fixed refueling installations, pipe lines and tank farms as well as aircraft refueling vehicles, hydrant dispensers and other mobile fueling equipment. These API coalescers and separators are also commonly used in other hydrocarbon fuel streams where high efficiency filtration and water separation are required.
