The API/EI 1581, 3rd or 5th Edition qualified coalescers are manufactured using multi-layered particulate capture media and a resin impregnated glass fiber coalescing core. No metal center-tube is used in order to provide efficient coalescence and reduce restriction allowing the filter to be crushable and incinerable for disposal.
The unique combination of media employed provides the industry with one of the most efficient particulate and water removal filters available. In addition to high efficiency, ACP filters can provide customers with low initial pressure drop and longer life when compared with other competitor products.
These filters remove free and emulsified water, physical contamination, and are specifically designed for aviation turbine fuel (Jet A, Jet A1). They can also be used with other types of fuels and hydrocarbon distillates from the refinery through to the distribution system.
